Who is Big Sky Dog Training?
Big Sky Dog Training is a privately owned company by Montana Hayes, a woman that has been involved with the rescue and training of dogs and horses for over 35 years. She is a skilled dog trainer and she has been attending continuing education courses and programs throughout her carrier. Montana uses reward-based training techniques and is here to help you with your companion, sport dog, or puppy. She helps you correct inappropriate behaviors and redirect the dog to an appropriate behavior/position that the dog can be rewarded for.
She will teach you how to train your dog with foundation and obedience skills that will create a cohesive, loving relationship. She also specializes in a puppy head-start program that helps you raise a well-behaved and obedient puppy.

It means that you are working with a trainer who usually can schedule same-day appointments. Who knows all the great places to shop for dog products, and for a bargain price. A trainer who is supportive and compassionate, who is just a phone call away. All for reasonable rates.

Philosophy and Rewards
At Big Sky Dog Training we emphasize communication skills, positive reinforcement, and rewards-based training for our canine family members.
